OSI installs two massive billboards in only seven days!

Outdoor Specialist Inc. just completed a project in Baltimore for Capitol Outdoor. This project includes two separate billboards across I-95 from each other. Both signs offer exceptional visibility to traffic on I-95 near Exit 57 O’Donnell St.
Average Annual Week Day Traffic (AAWDT) on this section of I-95 connecting Baltimore with Washington D.C. BWI and the Port of Baltimore is around 143,000. (MDOT 2023).
Outdoor Specialists Inc. used our 2 crews (Hardin construction and Hillis Outdoor Specialist) to expedite the process. Jeff Hillis used his Watson drill truck to drill both holes in consecutive days, one being a processed wet drill. We staged the pipes and built the heads over the weekend. Finally set the heads with a 300 ton crane the following Tuesday morning.
All went well and by using two crews, we finished in 7 days! One billboard is a 14’x48′ full flag mount vee 80′ OA. The second structure is a 14×48 center mount vee 79’OA.
