This is a takedown and rebuild for Capitol Outdoor in Baltimore MD showing to interstate 895. We had to replace the old structure to accommodate 2 Daktronics Digital faces. The original billboard consisted of a 14’x48’ flag atop a 101’ tall support.
This upgrade to digital consisted re-engineering the 101′ structure to support the Daktronics digital units. The Location was on Norfolk southern Property so we had to work closely with them and their flag staff to insure a safe working environment as there was very limited room for us to work. We had to bring in a larger drill truck because of the size of the footing, with a sleeve and a large water tanker to process the footing as it became wet.
Overall everything went smooth with a happy customer in Capitol Outdoor.
